Cost of Turnover

Hiring Managers often fail to realize that turnover carries a huge price followed by enormous costs - some obvious, others not so obvious, and then there are the costs no one see until too late.

OBVIOUS
The actual price of hiring a replacement: advertising - newspaper ads, internet ads, etc…, recruiting fees (these can be high if you should fall in the hands of the wrong recruiting firm).

NOT SO OBVIOUS
Your time away from more revenue generating tasks because of résumé reading, screening time, interviewing time, reference checks, background checks, aptitude testing, etc… Frustrating!

OFTEN NOT OBVIOUS AT ALL
Low employee and department morale leading to possible litigation, unemployment compensation, low productivity and poor customer service. Lost revenue from a sales territory that is not being worked, due to the lack of proper sales professionals in place.
